Windows Mobile 8 già in programma?

Microsoft cerca manager per la creazione “delle future versioni di Windows Mobile“. Già al lavoro per Windows Mobile 8?

Alcune ore fa è comparsa sulle pagine Web istituzionali di Microsoft un’offerta di lavoro che, secondo l’interpretazione di alcuni blog, consiste nell’incarico di programmare la realizzazione e la distribuzione di Windows Mobile 8. Nell’annuncio più precisamente si fa riferimento ad un manager “che sia capace di gettare le basi per una futura grande trasformazione nel campo del business e della tecnologia“.
Per chi sia stufo di impieghi a tempo determinato e paga sindacale l’offerta, riportata integralmente a seguire, è un’occasione da non sottovalutare. Indipendentemente dall’eventualità che sia legata a Windows Mobile 8 o, più realisticamente, alla release 7 della piattaforma tascabile di Microsoft.

The product planning arm of Windows Mobile is looking for exceptional talent to lay the foundations for the one of the next big technology and business transformations on the planet! You will be joining a very innovative product planning group in a fast moving and competitive industry. The primary responsibilities will include product planning for future versions of Windows Mobile platform. You will develop Areas of Investigation which lead to actionable roadmaps and collaborate with the product engineering teams so that these roadmaps turn into highly profitable products that delight the users. You will be a major driver and contributor to product and business strategy and become the go-to person for important customer, industry and technical insights and trends.

The specific areas of responsibility will include planning for: commercialization of Windows® phones, global ROI analysis on geographic market entry and winning share, OEM requirements and opportunities to differentiate. Deliverables will include, area roadmaps, market opportunity analysis, market requirements document and more broadly business and technical strategy for the area. This work will be done in partnership with the Windows Mobile engineering group and the OEM teams in the Mobile Devices Strategy and Commercialization group.

Required:
-You have shipped several successful and profitable global products in the capacity of at least one of the following: product management, product planning, business planning or a combination of above. Alternatively you have been an influential and effective analyst in the space of mobility
-You have superb analytical and communication skills and high comfort with senior executives
-You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to do what it takes to make the business successful
-You have MBA or equivalent work experience
– And most important of all, you are passionate about truly understanding and delighting customers

Desirable:
-You have extensive experience in the wireless industry
-You have been through many business cycles and have a historical perspective on the evolution and adoption curve of new mobile technologies and services
-You have prior experience in leading and managing small but effective teams
